There’s going to be a big event for writers and book lovers here in Ephraim on April 9th. 20 local authors will be there to host workshops.
The story mentioned in the previous post is now available in paperback if anyone wants it. You can find it here.
It ended up costing $6, but if you’d rather not part with your hard-earned cash remember that you can get a digital copy for the low one-time fee of your soul…I mean, FREE! A new story has been added for free download. Its title is The Prisoner, and it’s a sort of fantasy love story. I say ‘sort of’ because although it takes place in an imaginary world there isn’t any of the usual fantasy fare—magic, fantastic creatures, etc. Just people. And a dog, and a rat. The rat is very important.
This was actually an attempt of mine to write a story with no violence in it. But don’t worry, I’m redeeming my manliness by writing a story with no romance. I might even post that one someday, if I ever finish it. If you don’t like reading on the computer and want a physical book, I’m in the process of putting it up at createspace.com for sale as a softcover. You’ll have to pay for that, one, though—enough to cover printing and shipping costs. It even comes with its very own Excessively Generic Cover®! It could take a while for it to be ready there, but I’ll update this blog when it is. |
